Dreamcatcher
Hi everyone, Im so excited to launch my blog today! I am dedicating this post to dreamcatchers. I will go over the steps i take to make one. this one happens to be for my sister-in-law I hope you all enjoy!
Gather your supplies...

For this dream catcher:

Make a knot anywhere on the circle, this will be the top! Continue to wrap the circle to the right keeping the yarn tight as you wrap. When you come back to the top leave a bit of tail so you can use this piece to hang your dream catcher.
Step 2: Create the web, I choose an off white yarn, so it can standout against the other colors!

Make a knot at the top of dream catcher and work counterclockwise.
take the end of the tail or small ball of yarn, wrap it over the circle, through the back, and under the yarn. Hold the loop on the circle where you would like this piece to go and pull snug. Don't pull too tight because it will be harder to continue the web. Use each new diagonal line as your new circle to continue wrapping around to make the web.
*I showed two examples of how this process works*
Step 3: finish off the web

Gather your supplies...
For this dream catcher:
- foam wreath circle
- yarn and ribbon
Step 1: wrap the circle with chosen yarn, I choose a heathered burgundy yarn

Step 3: finish off the web
Turn the Dream Catcher over and tie a simple knot, trim off excess yarn.
Step 4: make the fringe, or tail of your dream catcher
For this process cut yarn at your desired length and fold in half, Cut as many as you desire. Since I like it to be symmetrical i cut an odd amount.
At the cut yarns loop fold it over the circle pull through the back, take the tail of the yarn and pull through loop, pull tight! Use this as your center point and continue to attach the other tail pieces.
Heres what it will look like!
Now you can attach either more or stop here.
I attached more colors and even some beads from an old bracelet she didn't want anymore.
And here Is the finished product...
Thank you so much for reading, I hope this inspires you to make your own dream catcher!
