How do you experience your higher self? It has been through my art!  This year, from day 1, which started out as an endless roller coaster, had me feeling lost and unhappy. I hadn't been or felt myself in years. Reflecting upon this I thought,  "When did I  loose myself and how can I experience my higher self again?" That question is extremely complex... But the goal was to find out who I am again! When I think about who I am I have always considered myself an artist with the gift of intuitive power and astral abilities that I was always too afraid to express.  So I stopped everything that was holding me back and started expressing myself again through art.  One thing I realized this morning was that I have never felt more connected with my higher self than I do right now! History of "el ojo de dios" Originating in the Americas these "God's eyes" as protection charms and a talisman of, the better known , third eye. A powerful symbol of understanding unseen things. Huichol indians created these woven pieces of art to put on their alters. A traditional "God's eye" has 4 points representing the 4 elements, earth, fire, and water. To weave a "God's eye" one is putting their own energy and prayers to create a physical object to forever be a representation these intentions. They are often used to protect children. They can be given as gifts either at birth, a baptism, or birthday. How to I cleanse my dreamcatchers? Here is my personal collection of dreamcatchers Bellica Rose loves my smudge stick Where I bought my smudge stick! THE best shop on Olvera St. to buy anything from smudge sticks to candles, you name it! My little sister amazed at the selection, it was her first time down Olvera St. (side note not all Californians visit all the "main" attractions, there are places we haven't even been🤣)   Isn't this candle too cool! I love to keep my dreamcatchers cleansed and pure! Smudging helps detoxify the dreamcatchers from any bad, evil spirits or dreams that might get caught in them. I am clairsentient so even being in the near room I can have the same nightmares or dreams they are having. Which is why I have so many dreamcatchers!

DIY DAY How To Make A Tassel I'll be showing you guys how I made these tassels. I am currently making them in preparation for my next project! Step One: You will need some supplies but also a flat object to assist with making the tassel. Supplies: yarn, flat object, scissors  I took the plastic cover off of my planner, it works so much better than cardboard. We will be wrapping the yarn around the cover. I leave a little yarn at the bottom so it won't unravel as I wrap it. I used the holes as a grid to measure how wide to make the tassel. I choose 3 notches I cut a piece of yarn at 11 notches, this will be the tassels topper Then I cut a piece of yarn at 4x's the length of the cover, this will be to wrap the tassel Use the small piece of yarn to pull under tassel At the very bottom cut the tassel off the cover Tie a knot very tight at the top of the tassel keeping both sides even.
