I finally received my book in the mail! I bought this book right before I moved from Murrieta, CA to Oklahoma City, OK. The moving was an idea me and my fiancee had one night after looking over everything in our lives, (well it was his idea first) we thought to ourselves, we have this opportunity to move to another state, drop everything and start fresh, should we do it? We both answered, YES! For our family this was a shock, since we never brought it up before, but luckily our families were so supportive. Next step, how do we explain to the kids we are moving? After a few weeks of constantly showing my kids maps, photos, calculating how long it would take to get there, the time came to make the move. Now my daughter, son, mother and myself drove the 1,800 miles in my car to Oklahoma City. Not only was this my childrens first road trip it was also mine! Its Rug day!  Im so relieved I'm done, my elbow hurts from all the puff ball making lol Heres how I made this rug... Step 1: Make the puff balls (You can look at my previous post to see how I made the puff balls) Step 2: Gather your backing I got this backing at a thrift store Step 3: Create a draft of the ready to use puff balls on a flat surface Step 4: Cut the backing to your desired length Step 5: Attach the puff balls Poke the long pieces of yarn, through the weaved holes a couple of spaces apart and then tie them tight in the back. Continue to attach all puff balls... If it turns out you need more simply make some more! The more you attach the less gaps you will have in-between! And Viola! Hey Everyone! I am currently working on making my first rug out of puff balls. This process takes awhile since you have to make tons, and tons of puff balls to your desired size rug. Today is tutorial day on  How to Make a Puff Ball Like always gather your supplies! Here we have my selected yarn, scissors, and an old toilet paper roll. (I cut it in half this time but for some other colors I will not) Step 1: We are using the toilet paper roll to wrap our yarn around. I cut the roll in half only because it was the desired size I wanted for this color. The wider you wrap the yarn on the cardboard the thicker it will be. Start by placing your finger on the start of your yarn and begin wrapping with the other hand. It should look a little something like this. I wrapped it about 65 times. Just keep in mind this varies due to yarn thickness and how wide your cardboard is. Once your done wrapping cut the yarn towards the bottom of your roll so thi...

I will go over the steps i take to make one. this one happens to be for my sister-in-law I hope you all enjoy! Gather your supplies... For this dream catcher: foam wreath circle   yarn and ribbon  Step 1: wrap the circle with chosen yarn, I choose a heathered burgundy yarn   Make a knot anywhere on the circle, this will be the top! Continue to wrap the circle to the right keeping the yarn tight as you wrap. When you come back to the top leave a bit of tail so you can use this piece to hang your dream catcher.
