The Great Work #2


I hope everyone had a great Summer Solstice, and I hope you all continue to have a great year. Todays question left me thinking about growing up, and overtime you meet someone new you would ask, "what do you do for fun?" Me and my husband joke around and ask each other this question and we always say, "oh you know stuff." lol

"What things do you do just for fun, enjoyment and play?"

I'll give you my top 5:

  • My husband and I love to play video games together of course when were not binge watching something on Netflix.
  • I love to go hiking with my family, this has been hard to adjust to moving to Oklahoma City, so if anyone knows of any great places let me know, please!

  • I enjoy crafting, of any sort, you name it I will do it haha
  • I love spending time with my kids teaching them new things or just spending time outside, especially take them to buy new crystals!
  • And I love to take time alone to read, when I have just a few minutes to spare
    (My first book hunt in Oklahoma City, I bought these at Salvation Army)

Potty Training in 3 days

Heres How Gabriel Was Potty Trained In 3 Days! As most of you know already we just recently moved to Oklahoma City from California, during all that chaos potty training Gabriel had to take a pause. Both me and my husband were working and between packing, planning, and having to drive the almost 1,800 miles, I knew it wasn't going to be possible. So I planned to begin his potty training when we finally moved into our apartment! I bought  just the right amount of diapers to last exactly to my plan. El Ojo De Dios

History of "el ojo de dios" Originating in the Americas these "God's eyes" as protection charms and a talisman of, the better known , third eye. A powerful symbol of understanding unseen things. Huichol indians created these woven pieces of art to put on their alters. A traditional "God's eye" has 4 points representing the 4 elements, earth, fire, and water. To weave a "God's eye" one is putting their own energy and prayers to create a physical object to forever be a representation these intentions. They are often used to protect children.
